A cinematographer on numerous projects, Thomas Hencz recently shot DELIVERING HOPE, an advocacy film for Richard Branson’s Virgin Unite, the United Nation’s Population Fund and its celebrity ambassador, Natalie Imbruglia. Prior to that, Thomas filmed CREDO, a short which won the Best picture award at the Tromso International Film Festival in Norway. Thomas has worked extensively as a DP around the world from London to Scandinavia to Africa, has shot four features, and the TV series The New Adventures of Robin Hood for Warner Brothers.



In addition to his feature and television work, Thomas has filmed numerous commercials for high profile companies like Lucozade, Yellow Pages (most played commercial at the time in Norway), Seiko, Texaco and Telenor. Thomas also shot an IFP/Dockers award winning mini-film RIDDLE, which played theatrically in Los Angeles.



Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Thomas learned his craft from his father, a well-known Swedish cinematographer and gaffer. Thomas received his degree in filmmaking at The London International Film School.



He currently works and resides in W. Hollywood, CA.
